CALLING ALL GRANGERS!!!

We are going to have a Grange float in the 4th of July parade this year. Everyone is welcome to participate! We want to have everyone looking patriotic…so the first thing we are going to do is make red, white, and blue tie dye tee shirts on Sunday (July 2nd) at 3:30PM at the Grange Hall. Please bring a white tee shirt (Walmart has them cheap right now)!

Also, if you can donate any sign making material like poster boards, marker, tec. Or red, white, and blue decorations that would be awesome! If you can’t make Sunday but would still like to participate, meet us at spot #18 (down from the VFW Hall) on the morning of the fourth at 8:30AM to be on the float!

Happy 4th of July!

LEG Youth Horse Group and 4H Learning Cowboy Dressage!

This past Friday (April 21) the Lake Earl Grange Youth Horse group and 4H Horse group participated in the first Youth Cowboy Dressage Clinic here in Crescent City with clinicians Mitch and JoLinn Hoover of MJ Rising H Ranch! This is one of the many events they participated in using their funds they earned with their fundraisers! :-)

They learned where the letters were on the court, some of the challenge obstacles on the court and they walked the court before introducing their horses to it. Then they were able to ride their first test! They all did so well! We are all very proud of our young equestrians! And a big thank you for the Hoovers for coming to our little town!
