What a nice weekend to have Molly Darst help us with tips for working with our horse for our reining work and boxing and moving a cow on the rail. Some even worked the cow…it was fun watching and learning! Look out Western States Stock Horse…here come the Crescent City team! Here are a few photos….
What a nice turn out for our Easter Awards dinner tonight! Everyone should be so proud of their children and all of their accomplishments! We were even visited by some of the Rodeo Senior and Junior Queen contestants…who were award recipients, too! Also, we are so fortunate for all of the adults who put this together! This Saturday, March 21st at 6PM is the lake Earl Grange Easter/Awards Tri-tip dinner! The Grange is supplying the Tri-tip, rolls, dessert, drinks, and serving dishes/cutlery. We are asking the adult Grange members to bring side dishes that will compliment the tri-tip. See y’all there!

The Lake Earl Grange is hosting a two-day Cow Horse Clinic on March 28 & 29 at the Del Norte County Fairgrounds. Molly Darst from Humboldt County will be our clinician. This clinic is geared for those who are planning on competing in the Western States Stock Horse shows or other Stock Horse competitions. There will be live cattle and the Robo-cow. Cost is $100 for Grange members and $125 for non-members. Only 10 spots available…call Helen Ferguson as soon as possible at 760-218-5769!
